Law Clerk Connection Encourages Lawyers & Law Students to Step Up To Make Change
Monday, April 12th, 2010

National Volunteer Week is April 18-24, a time to celebrate the extraordinary feats people accomplish to improve conditions across the nation.  This year, Law Clerk Connection is reaching out to non-profit organizations and pro-bono attorneys in need of assistance in providing legal help to others.

We are encouraging all of our members to offer a few hours of their time to helping those who would otherwise not have access to legal services.  For those attorneys or non-profit in need of some extra help with their pro-bono activities, we encourage you to check out our online forum and create a volunteer virtual legal team to help pick up the slack.

The Law Clerk Connection member who provides the most hours of volunteer legal services through Law Clerk Connection between April 18, 2010 and May 18, 2010 will receive a special gift to be announced in May.

Improving Access To Legal Services

Law Clerk Connection hopes to improve this dismal statistic by partnering with non-profit organizations, pro-bono attorneys and low/no-cost legal services attorneys. (more…)
